I am delighted to be partnering with a manufacturing business based in Scunthorpe on their search for a newly created Assistant Management Accountant role!
Key day to day duties:

* Lead the management of supplier rebates, ensuring accurate recording, reconciliation, and allocations
\t
* Support the Financial Director in preparing monthly management accounts and conducting general ledger analysis
\t
* Produce and circulate monthly sales performance reports to senior stakeholders
\t
* Serve as a key contact for stakeholders regarding financial queries and reporting matters
\t
* Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial integrity
\t
* Manage inter-company recharges and ensure correct processing
\t
* Maintain and enhance KPI reporting frameworks
\t
* Review and analyse expense invoices for accuracy and compliance
\t
* Provide holiday cover and ad-hoc support across the Management Accounts team
\t
* Publish daily performance league tables for internal visibility
\t
* Assist with finance-related projects and initiatives led by the Financial Director
\t
* Contribute to year-end audit preparation and statutory reporting activities
\t
* Drive improvements in financial processes, controls, and reporting tools
\t
* Participate in cross-functional projects such as system upgrades, cost analysis, and margin reviews
\t
* Coach and mentor junior finance colleagues
