Job Description:
We are seeking a Principal Social Worker focused on Court Work.
You will be a case-holding social worker managing approximately 10/11 children (4/5 families) involved in care proceedings. Your responsibilities include statutory visiting, care planning, reviews, and court appearances.
You will work with children and families to support decisions regarding children remaining at or returning home, considering current risks and protective factors, and assessing the likelihood of sustained change within the child's timescales.
Experience working with children subject to care proceedings and their families is required, with a focus on producing high-standard work based on sound evidence-based analysis.
Applicants should have undertaken assessments using the DOH Framework and possess knowledge of the NSPCC Reunification framework.
