Role Overview: Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager this role supports Culligan UK’s ability to source and supply product in a timely and organised manner. You will support the stock availability number, inventory value and on time delivery KPI’s to provide customer satisfaction and control our supply plan. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders across the business with your team to ensure the right stock is available at the right time. Main Responsibilities: Support the supply chain leadership team Own the purchase order process with suppliers Manage supplier performance against agreed SLA’s/KPI’s Expedite or defer orders as required based on schedule/inventory changes Set-up and own material master planning parameters (MOQ’s, lead times, safety stocks) Manage and resolve issues regarding PO to invoice discrepancies, returns and quality problems with suppliers Collaborate with internal customers and provide a high level of customer service, including recommending solutions, resources, and alternative supply options Monitor status of open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of all goods, including timely resolution, communication and mitigation of future potential issues or areas of concern Co-ordinate material flows throughout product/BOM changes, obsolescence, and the introduction of new suppliers and/or materials due to new product development Requirements Advanced proficiency with software systems – including IFS systems and Microsoft Excel (advanced skills required) Proven working experience within a demand and supply planning role Experience of managing suppliers and their performance Analytical with strong communication skills at all levels and a confident team player Excellent problem solving and organisational skills Ability to work to strict deadlines and remain calm under pressure Experience using forecasting tools and the ability to interpret data to improve performance within the demand and supply function. Proven ability to work quickly and accurately, with an eye on suggesting improvements to processes and systems.
