We are working with a well established regional civil engineering contractor is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, supporting a range of infrastructure and construction projects across Bournemouth and the surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking business working on long-term frameworks and standalone projects. You’ll be involved throughout the full commercial lifecycle, from procurement to final accounts. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare and manage interim applications, final accounts, and cost reporting (CVRs). * Administer subcontract procurement and payments. * Identify and manage variations and commercial risks. * Work closely with operational teams to monitor project performance. * Ensure contract compliance (typically NEC or JCT). * Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and commercial strategy. Requirements: * Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the construction or civil engineering sector. * Strong working knowledge of NEC or JCT contracts. * Experience managing subcontract packages and producing cost reports. * Relevant qualifications (degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or similar). * Full UK driving licence – this is a site and office-based role. Desirable: * Experience on highways, utilities, public realm, or infrastructure projects. * Previous work with regional contractors or on framework contracts.
