Senior Project Manager - Fixed Income Middle Office
Contract | £600-£700/day (Umbrella)
London/Hybrid - 3 days in office
Initial contract until 30/06/2026 (with strong likelihood of extension)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (SVP level) to deliver key global initiatives within Fixed Income Middle Office, covering FX, Spread, Rates, and Treasury.
This is a hands-on role requiring close partnership with Operations and Technology to shape and deliver multiple projects across regulatory compliance, strategic re-architecture, risk and control, reconciliation, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive delivery of multiple projects across a global programme of work, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
* Partner with Operations to define and execute the target operating model.
* Implement programme governance, reporting, and stakeholder management.
* Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
* Document and deliver strategic business requirements with measurable benefits and KPIs.
* Oversee testing, UAT, and cross-functional delivery with internal and external stakeholders.
* Deliver clear updates and presentations to senior stakeholders.
* Provide subject matter expertise and coach junior team members as required.
Skills & Experience
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
* Strong understanding of global markets, ideally Fixed Income.
* Proven track record of process transformation and large-scale project delivery.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
* Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills; JIRA experience desirable.
* Ability to lead complex front-to-back process reviews and drive outcomes.
