Project Supervisor – Newark, UK – £35–£40 per hour We are looking for an experienced Project Supervisor to join an exciting FMCG site extension project in Newark. This temporary role is an immediate-start assignment, offering the opportunity to work on a large-scale installation project, including process equipment, pipework, structural steel, civils, and electrical work packages. Project Supervisor’s Key Responsibilities: • Manage day-to-day activities of multiple contractors on site, ensuring safe and efficient operations • Conduct workface visits, safety discussions, and audits to maintain compliance with site safety standards • Ensure all works comply with permit-to-work processes and other site procedures • Support quality and technical performance in conjunction with subject matter experts • Work independently as required and contribute as part of a broader project team Skills & Experience Required as a Project Supervisor: • Proven experience as a Site or Project Supervisor on industrial or FMCG installation projects • Strong knowledge of construction health & safety management, CDM regulations, and site safety standards • Mechanical/engineering understanding of pipework, process equipment, and structural steel installation • Excellent organisational, communication, and contractor management skills • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends; valid UK driving license preferred Benefits Package: • Competitive hourly rate: £35–£40 per hour • Extended working hours and weekend work for temp assignment • Temporary assignment – immediate start, approx. 8 weeks duration • Opportunity to work on a high-profile FMCG site project • Gain experience across multiple engineering and construction disciplines If this Project Supervisor role matches your skills and experience, we would love to hear from you and look forward to discussing your application in more detail.
