The Location
Chorus Intelligence's head office is in Woodbridge, Suffolk, IP12 with a hub in Cambridge. This role is to be based in the Woodbridge Office Monday to Thursday and Work from Home on Friday's.
Role Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join us in strengthening our existing infrastructure team. The role will be focusing on AWS Infrastructure and automation. In joining the team, the engineer will support our Dev, QA, Product & Ops teams to ensure continual efficiency whilst scaling, managing and automating our AWS Infrastructure. Ensuring optimum reliability, security and performance across our environments.
The role is a hands-on role suited to someone with proven DevOps experience who enjoys problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
· Build, manage and optimise environments to support reliable and frequent releases for our software development lifecycle
· Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, security and cost efficiencies
· Automate deployment, monitoring and system health checks
· Support containerisation and orchestration
· Collaborate with development teams to integrate best practices and smooth application
· Implement and monitor system logging, alerting and observability
· Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking and performance issues in production and staging environments
· Continually work to improve security and compliance
Experience
· Proven experience in a DevOps or similar role
· Experience of a cloud platform (ideally AWS)
· Experience with infrastructure as code e.g.: Terraform or equivalent
· Solid understanding of Docker and ECS or equivalent
· Experience with CI/CD tools (Gitlab or similar)
· Good understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing and security concepts
