Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for Warehouse Team Manager to join our Distribution centre based in our site in Runcorn!
As a Warehouse Team Manager, you will lead, manage and control your area of responsibility, in line with area specific KPI targets and time constraints. You will provide effective leadership, motivation, training and development to your team and will report to the Warehouse Shift Manager.
You will be on our 2 week Rotating Shift Pattern:
* Week 1 = Monday to Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm
* Week 2 = Monday to Friday 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Key Accountabilities
The key accountabilities of the role will include:
* Leading, motivating and challenging a team of Warehouse colleagues to deliver consistently high results
* Driving consistent performance of KPIs achieved and ensuring that productivity is managed
* Ensuring the safe delivery of stock to store & all admin is maintained to a high standard
* Achieve and maintain pick accuracy levels
* Use space and MHE efficiently ensuring workplace health & safety requirements are met
* Collaborating with peers and superiors to maximize efficiencies and best practice
Qualifications
In addition to the relevant experience you must also be able to demonstrate the following:
* Management experience in a volume & service driven warehouse operation
* Ability to operate in a fast paced environment, handling multiple tasks and deadlines
* Excellent leadership, team building and motivational skills
* Detail focused with strong organisational skills
* Good communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to negotiate and influence as required
* Energy, flexibility and commitment to succeed in a challenging environment
