Take the Lead in Fee Governance and Data Integrity at ULaw. Are you a detail-driven finance professional who thrives on data accuracy, financial integrity, and influencing change? At The University of Law, we are undertaking a significant data and process review, and we’re looking for a Senior Income & Fee Governance Specialist to join our Finance team and play a key role in enhancing our income and fee processes. This is a 12-month fixed term contract and offers the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis at our Woking office, we expect you’ll be on the office around 1 day per week. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy of income and fee adjustments stemming from a university-wide student record data cleanse. From reconciling deferred income to overseeing correct revenue recognition in line with IFRS 15, you’ll help strengthen the integrity of our finance systems. As our Senior Income & Fee Governance Specialist, you will: Managing and maintaining the accuracy of income and fee data across financial and student record systems. Overseeing the accurate recording of fee and income adjustments across financial and student record systems to maintain data integrity. Producing monthly deferred income reconciliations. Leading on audit-related deliverables related to income, deferred income and student data cleansing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. Reviewing, recommending, and improving internal financial control processes. Act as the primary liaison for audit inquiries, providing comprehensive responses to requests concerning fee adjustments and data integrity. Is this you?: We are looking for somebody with strong analytical skills, high attention to details, with a strong understanding of financial governance, revenue assurance and internal controls. Part-qualified or qualified by experience Strong experience reconciling accounting transactions using financial systems A proactive approach with the confident to interrogate data and suggest improvements Experience in deferred income, balance sheets and reconciliation Why join us?
