Salary: £23,492 per annum

Who are we looking for?
Burton and South Derbyshire College is seeking to appoint a well-organised, committed and enthusiastic individual to join our Customer and Learner Services Team.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in contributing to the College recruitment, admissions, retention and success rates by providing efficient and effective frontline services offering information, advice and guidance on our wide and diverse range of complimentary support services to existing learners, new applicants to the College and the general public while being part of the team that handles a busy switchboard with inbound and outbound calls.
You will be required to work closely, and in collaboration with, cross-college departments in order to provide a welcoming, seamless and professional service to learners and visitors to the Learner Hub.
The successful candidate will also be required to be a good team-player, with good communication skills and have experience of inputting data efficiently and accurately.
This role would suit a vibrant, outgoing individual who is able to work effectively as part of a team but also has the tenacity and motivation to, at times, work alone or on individual tasks or projects.
This role will require working to a rota between our Burton campus and the Stephen Burke Construction Academy (in Swadlincote) Campus.
Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
