Job Title: Welder (6 Positions Available)
Location: Dorking, Surrey
Salary: £13.71 – £15.63 per hour (depending on skills and experience)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week)
About the Welder Role:
We are seeking six skilled Welders to join our growing team, This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position with excellent benefits and development prospects.
Working Hours:
* 40 hours per week
* Alternating shifts (weekly rotation):
o Early Shift: 5:45am – 1:45pm
o Late Shift: 2:15pm – 10:15pm
* Monday to Friday
* 30-minute paid break each day
Key Responsibilities of the Welder:
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and ISO quality standards
* Perform MIG and TIG welding to a high commercial standard
* Mark out parts accurately
* Pressure and leak test fabrications
* Clean and fettle parts as required for paint preparation
* Complete work records and relevant documentation in the correct sequence
* Self-inspect parts and ensure all quality standards are met
* Maintain high levels of housekeeping and safe working practices
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
* Cross-train and develop competence across multiple jobs
* Comply with company Health and Safety policies and risk assessments
* Carry out any other duties deemed appropriate by the company
