We are seeking a highly analytical and creative Digital Marketing Manager to lead our digital demand generation strategy, with a strong focus on driving conversion and marketing activities within the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). The ideal candidate is a strategic German-speaking expert who can translate complex products into high-performing digital campaigns and optimize marketing performance across key channels.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategy & Execution (DACH Focus):
* Manage and execute multi-market paid campaigns, potentially overseeing significant advertising budgets, across key digital platforms, including Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and Programmatic advertising.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve lead conversion through optimized nurture workflows and lead scoring.
* Plan and execute integrated campaigns in collaboration with internal design, content, and CRM teams.
* Drive improvement in key metrics like CTR, MQL to SQL conversion, and demo sign-ups through content and CRM workflows.
* Analysis & Reporting:
* Provide in-depth actionable insights and comprehensive KPI reporting to marketing leadership.
* Utilize tools like GA4, Looker Studio, Hotjar, HubSpot, and Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) platforms to monitor performance and optimize funnel strategies.
* Combine an analytical mindset with a creative instinct to constantly test new formats, audiences, and data-driven strategies.
* Team & Project Management:
* Lead and facilitate cross-functional collaboration between performance, creative, analytics, content, and CRM teams.
* Take ownership of projects, working with structure and precision.
* Coordinate external partners and manage creative teams, working students, or junior staff as needed.
* Potentially lead company-wide initiatives such as brand relaunch projects.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Must-Haves
* Language & Region: Native German proficiency and fluency in English is mandatory. Proven experience managing campaigns with a direct focus on the DACH region is essential.
* Experience: 4+ years of progressive experience in Digital Marketing or Performance Marketing, scaling digital campaigns, preferably in a SaaS, B2B, or high-growth technology environment.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of major advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta/Facebook, LinkedIn) and marketing/reporting tools (GA4, HubSpot).
* Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated ability to turn complex products into clear, demand-driving messaging that converts users across multiple channels.
Desirable
* Master’s degree in Marketing & Communication or a related field (M.Sc. or equivalent).
* Experience in owning SEO-driven content strategy and coordinating content production.
* Familiarity with creative tools like Canva or Figma and CMS tools.
* Experience managing and optimizing large, multi-market paid budgets.
