About the Department
Our College of Science and Engineering includes the School of Science, Computing, Sport and Exercise Science, and Engineering. We are the STEM College, located in Derby, a city with a strong STEM heritage.
The Discipline of Computing and Mathematics is at the forefront of teaching, research, and innovation, offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in areas like Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Sciences, etc. We maintain strong industry links and are investing in expanding our research centers and expertise.
About the Role
We are hiring at the Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level in Computer Science. The successful candidate will have interests in areas such as Internet of Things, Cyber Security, Networking, Data Security, Software Engineering, or Operating Systems.
You will contribute to teaching, research, mentoring, and administrative duties, supporting the growth of our programs and reputation.

22nd May 2025, held on-site at our Derby campus.
About You
As a Lecturer, you should demonstrate potential in teaching and research, aiming for an international reputation. As a Senior Lecturer, you should have a proven track record and established reputation in teaching and research.
