About the Role We are seeking an experienced Construction Disputes Lawyer to join several growing London teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and commercially minded disputes specialist with a strong background in construction adjudication and related contentious matters. You will advise a wide range of clients including developers, contractors, consultants, and funders on all aspects of construction and engineering disputes. The role involves managing a diverse caseload of adjudications, mediations, arbitrations, and litigation in the Technology and Construction Court (TCC). Key Responsibilities Act as lead or supporting counsel in construction adjudications and other dispute resolution forums. Provide strategic advice on construction contracts, including NEC, JCT, and bespoke agreements. Manage and resolve payment disputes, defect claims, and delay/extension of time issues. Draft, review, and advise on adjudication submissions and related legal documentation. Support senior partners on complex multi-party disputes. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and industry professionals. About You Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 2 –8 years’ PQE (guideline only). Proven experience handling construction adjudications and contentious matters. Strong knowledge of UK construction law and dispute resolution processes. Excellent written and oral advocacy skills. Commercially astute with a proactive, client-focused approach. Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
