Robert Half Talent Solutions are seeking a permanent Management Accountant for a growing professional services organisation based in Cardiff. There is succession plan to grow to a Financial Controllers role in the future.
Reporting into the Finance Director you will be instrumental in driving improved reporting an developing the business partnering capability of the organisation.
* Support the preparation of monthly management information, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
* Lead the annual budgeting process across all departments and practice groups.
* Provide financial insights and reporting to partners and departmental heads to support performance improvement.
* Support strategic financial initiatives, including profitability reviews, evaluation of business cases for new initiatives and process change management.
* Lead the day-to-day cash flow management of the business, including the preparation of 12-month rolling forecasts.
* Oversee VAT, PAYE and other tax compliance matters.
* Take ownership of the WIP valuation processes.
* Assist in identifying financial risks and implementing controls to mitigate them; support internal and external audit processes.
Key Skills & Experience
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a strong technical background.
* Proven experience in a similar finance role, with experience in the legal or professional services sector desirable.
On offer:
A salary of from £50,000 to £60,000 plus benefits. Hybrid working.
