Electronics Engineer - Programme Manager - Medical Devices - Cambridge
Due to growth in company output, there is a need for a new Programme Manager with an Electronics Engineering background. Based in Cambridge, you will lead several projects, supporting and mentoring junior staff while also handling electronics design tasks.
We seek someone experienced in developing new Medical Devices technologies, particularly in electro-mechanical Medical Devices such as implantable devices, wearable tech, or other medical technologies compliant with EN60601 standards.
Applicants should have a relevant degree in a suitable subject leading to a Medical Devices Electronics Engineering role. A master's or PhD is advantageous but not essential; industry experience is more critical.
The technologies you will develop are lifesaving and industry-disrupting, aiming to improve thousands of lives.
This role involves communication with external and internal entities, so experience in providing updates and managing project changes is beneficial.
Knowledge of EN60601 and ISO 13485 standards is essential.
