Salary: Up to £35,000 plus £5,000 car allowance/Company Car
Overview
We're seeking a proactive and driven Field Account Manager to become the trusted face of our business. In this role, you'll engage with SME clients (typically 10-50 employees), helping them maximise the value of our portfolio through effective cross-selling and up-selling.
Our products and services include hosted telephony, broadband, managed internet, mobiles, managed IT, Microsoft licensing, and cybersecurity solutions. You will spend four days a week in the field visiting customers, with one day working from the office. Most appointments will be pre-booked by our Customer Development team, allowing you to focus on driving revenue.
Responsibilities
1. Build strong, long-term relationships with customers through face-to-face meetings and follow-up.
2. Provide pricing and complete paperwork on-site to streamline the sales process.
3. Understand customer needs through effective questioning and active listening.
4. Create and execute account development plans tailored to each client's objectives.
5. Present customised, value-driven proposals aligned with customer goals.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless service.
7. Schedule and carry out proactive outbound communications, including arranging your own appointments as needed.
8. Drive product penetration through strategic cross-selling and up-selling.
9. Meet and exceed revenue targets while minimising churn.
10. Identify at-risk customers and coordinate with teams to support retention.
11. Maintain accurate customer records in our CRM systems.
12. Build rapport with key stakeholders and stay current with industry trends.
13. Availability to stay away from home once per week.
