We are recruiting an ambitious Contracts Manager to oversee projects across the South East, taking full accountability for performance, programme and profitability. Key Responsibilities * Take full ownership of projects from pre-start to final account * Manage 1–3 schemes concurrently, depending on scale * Deliver projects safely, on time and within agreed margins * Lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors * Develop and control construction programmes * Monitor critical path and implement recovery strategies * Manage works within live and occupied environments * Coordinate design, procurement and delivery activities * Manage JCT * Identify and control variations * Oversee cost performance and protect margin * Support CVR reporting and financial tracking * Contribute to final account agreement * Chair and attend client and consultant meetings * Maintain strong stakeholder communication * Ensure CDM compliance and uphold health & safety standards * Drive quality control and close out defects efficiently Candidate Profile * Background within main contracting * Experience delivering £1m–£10m projects * Exposure to healthcare, education or commercial sectors * Strong commercial awareness * Decisive and confident working independently * Proactive, accountable and calm under pressure
