Community Mental Health Team – Assistant Administrator
The Community Mental Health Team is recruiting a self‑motivated, forward‑thinking assistant administrator to work at Highlands House in Tunbridge Wells. The role will support teams in providing services, including organising work for self and other team members, front‑line contact with service users, carers, the general public or external stakeholders, and internal colleagues.
Responsibilities
* Organise work for self and other team members
* Provide reception cover in the absence of the receptionist
* Manage clinic setup according to requirements and staffing levels
* Answer telephone calls and direct them to the appropriate person
* Photocopy, laminate, upload documents and perform general office duties
* Book appointments and manage diaries
* Type letters or reports
* Type and prepare correspondence
* Diary management
Key Skills
* Excellent organisational and keyboard skills
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
* Capacity to work to tight deadlines, in changing and challenging situations, whilst maintaining attention to detail
* Ability to work alone and also as part of a team
