The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday.
We are inviting applications for a substantive post as Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry. This is a full‑time (10 PA) post based at Glasgow Dental Hospital and School with a substantial remit at the Royal Hospital for Children. The post holder will join one of the busiest Departments of Paediatric Dentistry in the UK. Aside from clinical service provision, opportunities exist for undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, quality‑improvement activity, and participation in research.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment in Paediatric Dentistry, including advice and treatment plans for referring practitioners and public dental service staff.
* Deliver treatment for medically‑compromised children and children with complex dental conditions.
* Provide at least one session of undergraduate clinic teaching.
* Develop and expand existing services within Paediatric Dentistry.
* Play an active role in teaching and training postgraduate dentists to specialist and consultant level.
Qualifications
* High level of knowledge and expertise in Paediatric Dentistry.
