The business has earned a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and customer service and continues to invest in its people and engineering capability as it grows.The OpportunityThe business is looking to recruit an experienced Panel Wireman / Control Panel Builder. This is a hands-on, workshop-based role offering long-term stability, clear progression, and the opportunity to play a key role in shaping a growing department within a modern engineering environment.The Role of the Panel WiremanControl panel and switchgear wiring (PLCs, safety circuits, motors)Wiring panels from electrical schematics and drawingsPoint-to-point testing and quality checksMechanical fitting and panel layout assemblyRequirements of the Panel WiremanLevel 3 Electrical qualification (Apprenticeship / City & Guilds / BTEC)Over 4 years’ experience in control panel wiring or panel buildingStrong ability to read electrical schematics and carry out fault-findingExperience with PLCs and safety circuits Ideally previous experience within a machinery manufacturing environmentWhat’s On OfferCompetitive salary (dependent on experience)Annual bonus30 days holiday (including bank holidays + Christmas shutdown)Workplace pensionMonday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pmModern workshop environmentFind out more about our available opportunities or how I can help you further your career – contact me today.
