Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants (TAs) for a variety of primary and secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent and nearby areas. Positions are available to start from 2nd June or 1st September 2025, with both short-term cover and long-term placements on offer, including full-time roles.
About the Role:
As a TA, you’ll play a key role in supporting teachers and pupils in the classroom. Your responsibilities may include working with small groups or individuals to boost learning, supporting children with additional needs, preparing classroom resources, assisting with behaviour management, and helping with supervision during break times. You’ll be an essential part of the school community, contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
What we’re looking for:
* Experience working with children or young people (school-based or similar settings)
* A positive, adaptable and proactive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine interest in education and supporting pupil progress
Relevant qualifications are welcome but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
