About the role
As a Hosted Buyer Account Executive, you will support buyer recruitment and programme administration for RX’s leading travel events. This role involves executing tasks with precision, maintaining accurate data, and communicating effectively with buyers. You will assist account managers in achieving their goals while building long-term relationships with clients and presenters. Responsibilities include identifying and closing new sales opportunities, planning and managing client events, and providing on-site support. This is a developmental role requiring problem-solving skills, proficiency in relevant processes, and the ability to analyse solutions using standard procedures, with moderate guidance from senior colleagues.
Responsibilities
1. Support buyer onboarding through clear communication of event criteria, registration steps, and timelines.
2. Maintain accurate buyer records using Salesforce and Excel, ensuring consistency across systems.
3. Prepare documentation, briefing packs, travel details, and appointment schedules.
4. Assist with diary coordination and troubleshooting during appointment matching phases.
5. Provide responsive and courteous support to buyer queries, escalating when needed.
6. Help with on-site event logistics including check-in, helpdesk, lounge setup, and tech support.
7. Contribute to post-event tasks such as data reconciliation, feedback collection, and reporting.
8. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth delivery of pre-event and onsite operations.
Requirements
9. 1–3 years’ experience in administration, customer service, or event operations.
10. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
11. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
12. Confident using Excel, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), and email tools.
13. A proactive, team-focused approach with a willingness to learn.
14. Ability to work inclusively and respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds.
15. Comfortable adapting to new systems and processes.
