Role: Strategic Relationship Manager - National
Division: Employability
Reporting to: Director of Employability
Location: Home Based (National travel required)

Role Purpose
The Strategic Relationship Manager is a national role within the Employability division, responsible for developing and coordinating strategic multi-regional employer partnerships that operate across contractual boundaries.
The role will act as a national interface for key employers and agencies, ensuring Learning Curve Group presents a consistent, high quality and commercially aligned approach to employer engagement.
Growth & Strategic Partnerships
This role will generate national employer demand, simplify cross regional working, and enable scalable sector pathways that support sustainable employment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. National Employer Growth & Strategic Partnerships
2. Identify, secure and manage strategic multi-regional employer partnerships.
3. Act as a single point of contact for national employers where appropriate.
4. Develop and implement national employer engagement strategies.
5. Build strong working relationships with:
6. DWP National Employer Partnership Team
7. Employment support Prime providers and supply chain partners
8. Local Authorities and Combined Authorities
9. Industry bodies
10. Develop reciprocal partnership agreements that drive sustainable outcomes.
11. Contribute employer intelligence to bidding and growth strategies.
12. Cross-Regional Coordination & Operational Alignment
13. Translate national agreements into clear activation plans for local teams.
14. Coordinate with Local Partnership Managers and operational leads.
15. Prevent duplication of employer contact across regions.
16. Ensure employer experience reflects "One LCG" approach, including cross business collaboration with employers.
17. Share pipeline visibility and opportunity tracking through CRM systems.
18. Employer-Led Campaign & Pathway Development
19. Co-design national recruitment campaigns with strategic employers.
20. Support development of tailored sector routeways aligned to labour market demand.
21. Inform employer-led curriculum design through sector insight.
22. Support volume job starts and sustained employment outcomes.
23. Identify scalable sector opportunities across Bootcamps, ASF, Flexible Learning, Justice and employability contracts where applicable.
24. Performance & Delivery Contribution

26. Support growth in job outcomes and sustained employment.
27. Provide insight and performance intelligence to senior leadership.
28. Contribute to division-wide employer engagement capability building.

31. Ensure all activity complies with LCG policies and GDPR.
32. Uphold high standards of professionalism and data security.

Essentia Criteria
Essential Experience
* Experience within Employability, Recruitment, Welfare to Work or Adult Skills sector.
* Demonstrable experience building senior / board-level employer relationships.
* Experience designing or coordinating recruitment campaigns and/or sector pathways.
* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding performance targets.
* Strong stakeholder management and negotiation capability.
* Ability to operate autonomously and manage national stakeholder complexity.
Qualifications
* Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience).
* Minimum 5 GCSEs including English and Maths.
Desirable
* Level 4 qualification in Business Management or similar.
* Institute of Employability Professionals (IEP) membership or sector accreditation.
* Competencies
