We have an opportunity to join our team in the role of QEHS Manager for our UK footprint. This role will report directly to the Head of QEHS with a dotted line to the Solar Operations Manager, UK. The QEHS Manager will lead Greenvolt Next UK’s QEHS strategy, ensuring compliance, risk management, and continual improvement across all sites. This role is pivotal in embedding a proactive safety culture and maintaining operational excellence in line with UK legislation and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement the company’s QEHS strategy and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
* Manage and maintain ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 management systems.
* Lead QEHS audits, inspections, and incident investigations, ensuring lessons learned are shared.
* Prepare QEHS and sustainability and performance reports for internal and Group review.
* Support tendering processes and represent the business in external audits and inspections.
* Drive a positive SHE culture focused on prevention, accountability, and behavioural safety and provide practical H&S advice and training to site and other functional teams.
* Coach, mentor, and develop SHE professionals across multiple sites.
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits identifying risks and ensuring corrective actions are implemented
Qualifications:
* At least a minimum NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
* Proven experience in a QEHS management role, preferably in EPC or construction sectors.
* Strong knowledge of UK EHS legislation and CDM Regulations.
* Experience with ISO management systems and audits (9001, 14001, 45001).
* Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills across diverse teams.
* Willing to travel to project sites across the UK.
