We are a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Shepherd's Bush looking to appoint a compassionate and experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with Autism in our Reception class from September 2025.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of Autism and a commitment to early years education. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the child access the curriculum, develop communication and social skills, and feel safe and supported throughout the school day.
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous experience working with children with Autism, ideally in an early years or primary setting
Understands the importance of structure, routine, and clear communication
Is warm, patient, and consistent in their approach
Can work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to follow support plans
Has a good understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practices
