Shop Assistant - Saltash Shop
Permanent position of 15 hours per week.
Join our retail team at St Luke's Saltash Store and contribute to the income needs of the hospice. The store is community-based, located on Fore Street, Saltash, and sells donated items focusing on homeware and clothing.
We seek an individual to support our manager, staff, and volunteers in a fast-paced environment, driving sales and managing costs to maximize profit. The shop operates 7 days a week.
You will support the Shop Manager in increasing sales and profitability, providing excellent customer service, and motivating the team, including volunteers. Retail and customer service experience is required, and you should be able to work well within a team.
Your responsibilities include administrative tasks such as volunteer induction paperwork, staff rotas, and banking procedures.
