I am working with a high performing school situated in Bath. It is a welcoming, inclusive community in which students are challenged to develop their own talents while encouraging others to do the same. The school promotes confidence, open-mindedness and tolerance along with creativity and a spirit of enquiry. Academic achievement takes place within the context of all-round personal development, and high standards are combined with a sense of responsibility and service. They encourage students to excel on a personal level while also making a real difference to the lives of others.
We are looking for a kind, open minded person to take on the challenge of becoming part of the staff body in this excellent school. The position is within the Prep school as a part time Early Years practitioner starting immediately. As a member of the staff body you will play a part in offering an inclusive boarding and day community that is free of pretension and balances academic rigour, strength in the arts and sport, traditional values and outstanding pastoral care with a forward-thinking, can-do approach.
Responsibilities:
1. Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment to support the development and learning of young children typically from the ages 9 months -5 years.
2. Observe and assess the children's development to best understand their needs and interests and be a part of important milestones.
