Lystek is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator to assist in managing and developing projects. The role involves all aspects of project development, including requirement review, solution development, proposal creation, engineering, scheduling, technical submissions, customer relations, procurement, contract management, change management, project controls, close-outs, quality control, and safety. The Project Coordinator reports to the Project Manager/Engineer.

Our innovative approach to biosolids and organics management helps municipalities and other clients worldwide maximize resource recovery and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Our patented thermal hydrolysis technology optimizes anaerobic digesters and nutrient removal systems at wastewater treatment facilities, transforming organic materials into nutrient-rich fertilizers and multi-purpose products.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Review and document customer requirements for new installations.
2. Assist in developing proposals for new Lystek solutions.
3. Review and develop mass balance models for new installations.
4. Complete engineering estimates and projections for material flows.
5. Review vendor packages for conformance with project requirements.
6. Assist in commissioning and troubleshooting existing Lystek systems.
7. Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to develop solutions.
8. Prepare contract, drawing, and specification packages.
9. Develop and update project schedules using scheduling software.
10. Manage equipment selections, drawings, and quality control inspections.
11. Prepare time and material summaries, initiate and track change orders, and assist with RFIs.
12. Attend project progress meetings and track project quantities.
13. Review project financials and assist in coordinating subcontractors.
14. Prepare monthly progress payments and close-out documentation.
15. Understand all contract documents, drawings, and quantity sheets.
16. Support Lystek Laboratory duties as needed and track claims.
17. Complete purchase orders.
WORKING CONDITIONS
1. Fast-paced environment on large, complex projects.

3. Long hours with travel; may include nights and weekends.
4. Work under pressure with tight deadlines.
5. Exposure to wastewater treatment plants, waste management facilities, and construction sites in all weather conditions.

7. Physical ability to navigate stairs, ladders, and rough terrain.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND REQUIREMENTS
1. Degree in Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering; minimum 2 years of industry experience.
2. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
3. Attention to detail and knowledge of construction health and safety.
4. Basic accounting knowledge is a plus.
5. Proficiency in oral and written communication.
6. Reliable, organized, and sound judgment.
7. Valid G class driver’s license.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team and with external stakeholders.
