Shape better services as a Senior Pensions Data Technician with a focus on Guaranteed Minimum Pension equalisation (GMPe)
You will be working within the GMPe team assisting the management team to deliver the requirements for projects and help support and mentor your colleagues with your technical expertise as a Senior Pensions Data Technician (GMPe).
Job Description:
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading on the delivery of assigned projects and scheme events
* Reviewing the work of Pensions Data Technicians and providing feedback and technical support.
* Regularly reviewing the effectiveness and efficiencies of existing systems and controls and making suggestions to continually enhance service delivery and improve processes.
* Running and specifying data extracts from the administration system including bespoke reports.
* Performing bulk calculations in Excel.
* Identifying opportunistic income work and providing cost estimates to the client and commercial teams.
* Providing project updates and time scales to the GMPe Manager.
What we’re looking for:
* Experience working on Occupational Pension schemes at a technical level
* Project-based experience
* Good problem-solving skills
* Advanced Excel skills
* Strong analytical Skills
* Effectiveness delivering feedback and ability to coach others
* Good communication skills, written and verbal
