The School:
A newly established school opened in September 2023, supporting children and young people both at school and in the community. Located near Hampton, Feltham, and Teddington, it caters to children aged 5-19 with various learning and behavioral needs, all with Education Health Care Plans (EHCP). The school provides a safe environment for students experiencing high anxiety levels, which may affect focus and behavior.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist and supervise children’s behavior during the school day and support their learning and participation in class.
2. Work with individual students, small groups, or classes both inside and outside the classroom.
3. Encourage social skills development and support students’ individual needs.
4. Help build confidence and motivation among students.
5. Participate in team meetings and training sessions as an active team member.
6. Maintain progress records.
7. Support safeguarding regulations.
Requirements:
* Undergraduate degree, preferably in Psychology, Criminology, or a related field.
* Knowledge or keen interest in learning and behavioral needs.
* Good education levels in English and Maths; A Levels preferred.
* Cooperative, proactive problem-solver with good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Flexible working patterns.
