Function
Barco utilizes a business-to-business (B2B) sales process to bring highly technical products to market through our business partners. As a Business Development Manager (BDM) for the Diagnostic Imaging segment, you will communicate effectively with End Users, Key Opinion Leaders, and Partners to generate demand and clearly convey the advantages of our clinical, operational, and financial solutions. Barco offers "best in class" medical solutions for primary imaging applications.
Position Overview
* Achieve sales targets with assigned end user accounts.
* This role targets private hospitals, imaging centers, and laboratories across the UK, including but not limited to Spire Healthcare, Circle Health Group, HCA, Ramsay, Nuffield Health, with potential expansion across Pan EU Imaging and Laboratory accounts.
* Build a healthy sales funnel and close deals independently.
* Demonstrate proficiency in showcasing technology, clinical, and workflow benefits—presentations to hospital C-suite, imaging center staff, and physicians are required.
* Track activities and opportunities in CRM from lead discovery to closure.
* Drive new customer acquisition and business growth through lead follow-up and relationship selling.
* Create positive customer experiences, promote product adoption, and ensure high service responsiveness.
* Present Barco’s value proposition clearly and concisely.
* Establish relationships within the medical imaging community to generate leads and opportunities.
* Manage time, travel, expenses, and resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities
* Enhance brand recognition for Barco Diagnostic Imaging in the region.
* Present to end-user accounts across hospitals, imaging centers, and labs.
* Communicate the company's value proposition to physicians and decision-makers.
* Conduct product demonstrations highlighting features, benefits, and differentiation.
* Develop new customer relationships and focus on customer success.
* Prospect, evaluate opportunities, negotiate, and support customer purchases.
* Participate in regional events and network within the community.
* Develop regional strategies and execute plans with partners.
* Follow up promptly on leads and opportunities.
* Collaborate on regional account action plans and report market intelligence and competition insights.
