Job Description
1. Provide personal care to service users with a wide range of impairments and actively listen to service users to promote and support their independent living, including giving baths, changing, and feeding.
2. Meet various additional needs of service users, including general tidying and light cleaning duties to maintain a comfortable and healthy living environment, helping with meal planning, shopping, and providing companionship.
3. Support service users with mobility issues, including assistance with independent living aids and equipment.
4. Assist service users to communicate with professionals like utility providers and to access appointments and visits, which may include staying with them throughout the appointment.
5. Liaise with GPs, pharmacists, and families regarding care and medication needs.
6. Assist with the collection and administration of medication.
7. Ensure accurate and timely administration of medication as prescribed.
8. Work within company policy regarding handling of service users' finances, ensuring meticulous documentation of all financial transactions.
9. Report errors or concerns regarding medication or finances promptly to team leaders and management.
10. Maintain accurate records, including daily handovers, care details, and concerns or complaints from service users.
11. Report changes in health and wellbeing of service users promptly.
12. Report incidents and accidents, however minor, to team leaders or management promptly.
13. Understand and apply all company policies and procedures related to the role to promote safe working practices and legal compliance.
14. Maintain confidentiality regarding all aspects of the role, including service users' identity and health status.
15. Maintain clear communication with management to ensure proper information sharing.
Key Attributes, Essential
* Full British driving licence with no more than 6 points, own fully road-legal car, and business insurance.

Additional Information
You will be assigned a region within Blackpool upon starting. You will mainly work in this region but may be asked to provide emergency cover elsewhere. You will have 2 days off weekly, with days decided based on team needs and discussed at the interview. Applications may close early if suitable candidates are found.
