GS-Hydro UK Ltd is actively seeking new candidates for mechanical manufacturing engineering operations, combining hands-on work and in-house training. We specialize in hydraulic systems but work with various systems, materials, and sizes depending on project requirements, including UK, offshore, and abroad projects.
Candidates with experience in the following areas are encouraged to apply:
* Pipefitting
* Small Bore Tubing
Responsibilities include:
* Learning to fabricate pipe spools using manual or hydraulic equipment and understanding safety protocols.
* Assisting with building units and installing piping using correct techniques and connection types.
* Reading, understanding, and producing technical drawings and piping schematics over time.
* Participating in maintenance and inspection of workshop and offshore machinery.
* Learning flushing and pressure testing of pipework and hoses.
* Potential on-site work in the UK, abroad, or offshore, with occasional weekend work.
* Maintaining good communication skills and understanding of Health & Safety standards.
* Possessing a full UK driving license is advantageous; forklift license is beneficial but can be provided through training.
* Being reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Maintaining a professional attitude.
Geographies: We are recruiting piping technicians in various areas.

* Developing skills to solve engineering problems using technological principles and generating innovative solutions for piping and fluid transfer issues.
* Working locally within designated areas and, over time, on field projects both land-based and offshore, individually or as part of a team.
* Enhancing core skills in communication, numeracy, IT, problem-solving, and teamwork.
