Smile Education is recruiting an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Humanities Teacher to support secondary schools across Greater Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for educators who are passionate about humanities subjects and committed to developing students’ understanding of the world.
The Role
As a Humanities Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum (e.g. History, Geography, RE)
Plan, prepare, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and analytical skills
Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Maintain accurate records of attendance, attainment, and progress
Work collaboratively with colleagues and attend staff meetings
Communicate effectively with parents and carersAbout You
You will have:
A bachelor’s degree in a Humanities subject or related field
QTS (or equivalent)
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Humanities education
Effective classroom management skills
