Design2Fit Kitchens is seeking a CNC Operator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with CNC machinery, but we also welcome applicants who are eager to learn and develop their skills in precision manufacturing. This role involves operating CNC machines to produce components for bespoke kitchen designs, ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency at every stage.
Duties
* Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture parts according to design specifications.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files.
* Select and prepare tools, fixtures, and materials for machining tasks.
* Perform routine checks and assist with basic machine maintenance.
* Inspect finished parts with measuring tools to ensure high-quality standards.
* Collaborate with colleagues to meet production deadlines and customer expectations.
* Assist with handling and moving raw materials and finished components.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
* Take part in training to expand CNC knowledge, programming skills, and machining techniques.
Experience
* Previous CNC operating experience is preferred, ideally within joinery, cabinetry, or related manufacturing.
* Familiarity with woodworking machinery, hand tools, or technical/mechanical work is an advantage.
* Ability to read and follow technical instructions with strong attention to detail.
* Comfortable with manual handling of materials.
* Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
* A positive attitude, teamwork, and reliability are essential.
