Job Overview
Rainbow Mother and Baby unit is a 6-bed specialist commissioned service offering assessment, support, and treatment to women suffering from acute mental health illness during their third trimester of pregnancy up to baby being 12 months old. The unit accepts admissions primarily from the East of England and works closely with other professions to ensure the best outcomes for both mother and baby. We are looking for an enthusiastic, family‑focused occupational therapist to deliver group and 1:1 therapeutic engagement to join our established and expanding MDT.
Main Duties
* Act as a key member of the MDT, contributing to MDT care planning and attendance at professional meetings.
* Develop and run the ward therapeutic programme offering largely group and some 1:1 therapeutic engagement.
* Conduct assessments where needed.
* Contribute to person‑centred, individualised care planning.
