Job Summary
Capgemini Invent is hiring in the UK MALS (Manufacturing, Automotive & Life Sciences) Unit for an Aerospace & Defence (A&D) leader. The role will drive the digital agenda for clients and customers, set visionary direction, maximise market opportunity, develop the team and deliver for clients. Location: London; Firm: Capgemini Invent.
Responsibilities
* Drive strategy, shape offers and develop capability within the A&D segment of the MALS market unit.
* Lead sales and delivery work with new and existing clients.
* Business development: leverage existing relationships and personal network to treble revenues in the sector over the next 2 years.
* Define target strategy and team composition, recruit consultants, and mentor team members.
* Engage with senior members of the A&D sector and deliver consulting and technology offerings that are timely and relevant.
* Act as a thought leader and authority in the sector.
* Ensure effective delivery and timely completion of projects in alignment with commercial goals.
* Manage board/senior‑management relationships, scope challenges, and sell & deliver top‑tier consulting and technology‑enabled transformation work.
Qualifications and Experience
* Deep Aerospace & Defence sector expertise with experience across one or more parts of the aerospace value chain.
* Strong personal skills, drive, determination, influencing skills, and ability to overcome internal barriers.
* Ability to work effectively in mixed teams and with senior executives with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience building and managing a team, providing direction and development support.
* Professionalism, flexibility, and adaptability to changing tasks and priorities.
* Experience delivering end‑to‑end P&L for an account or sector within previous organisations.
Security Clearance
Requirement: Obtain Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. Must have resided continuously in the UK for the last 10 years and meet detailed criteria.
