Salary: £35,000 £40,000 basic (DOE) with a 15% Commission
Our well established broker who is part of a wider group arelooking to appoint a desk-based SME Insurance Account Executiveto join its growing broking arm. This role will focus on advising and placing commercial insurance risks for a broad SME client base, working within a professional, compliant, and sales-driven environment.
Youll be dealing with a varied book of SME clients including tradesmen, hotels, retail and hospitality businesses, providing tailored insurance solutions and building long-term client relationships.

The role will involve managing and developing a portfolio of SME commercial clients, providing advice across core commercial insurance products and proactively prospecting, quoting and converting new business opportunities. You will identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the existing client base, negotiate terms with insurers to achieve competitive outcomes, and ensure all activity is carried out in line with FCA and compliance standards, while consistently delivering a professional, consultative sales experience. xsngvjr
* Minimum 2 years commercial insurance experience (brokerage background preferred)
* Proven experience working with SME clients
* Strong sales mindset with the ability to build rapport and close business
* Confident communicator with a consultative approach
* Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple cases
* Compliance-focused and detail-oriented
