Job Description
Area Manager for Goldcrest Cleaning Limited covering Birmingham, Coventry, Leamington Spa and surrounding areas.
Pay: £15.60 per hour. The role is part‑time, permanent, 8 hours per week (reviewed regularly) as a home worker with required visits to the Head Office in Warwick. You should live in the Rugby or Banbury area and have your own transport.
Responsibilities
* Manage all elements of contracts: service delivery, site audits, stock ordering, client liaison, staff absence/performance/discipline issues and Health & Safety compliance.
* Oversee a portfolio of 13 contracts across various sectors (primarily education, offices and commercial premises).
* Support a team of 18 cleaning staff and report to the Senior Area Manager for monthly performance reviews.
* Attend and contribute to quarterly Area Management meetings and share best practice with your colleagues.
* Participate in training, including a 3‑month probation followed by a “Managing Safely” IOSH accreditation course.
Qualifications
* Experience managing a team and implementing ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
* Strong knowledge of contract and service delivery standards.
* Ability to travel to the Head Office and other sites as required.
* Enhanced DBS and the ability to provide ID and two references.
Job Details
Hours – 8 hours per week (reviewed regularly). Place of Work – Home Worker with occasional travel to Warwick. Geography Covered – Rugby, Banbury and surrounding areas. All business expenses reimbursed.
