You will join a highly skilled, collaborative structural repair team, delivering fatigue and damage tolerance justifications for metallic and composite aircraft structures. Working closely with Design and Static Stress Engineers, you will help develop and validate robust, compliant repair solutions across major wing repair programmes and operational repair activities.
What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will:

* Collaborate closely with Design, Static Stress and wider engineering teams to assess and validate structural repair designs.
* Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams, offshore partners, and specialist suppliers.
* Lead or contribute to major repair packages or complex in-service issues, including presenting repair scopes to senior stakeholders.
* Support the development of repair analysis methods, processes and inspection approaches, working alongside method experts and NDT specialists.
* Where required, contribute across broader structural areas such as Fuselage, Empennage and High-Lift devices.

What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from engineers who bring strong technical capability and a collaborative mindset. Ideally, you'll have:

* A degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
* Proven experience in Fatigue & Damage Tolerance analysis within an aerospace environment.
* Strong understanding of metallic and composite structures, with application to repair scenarios.
* Experience using recognised F&DT tools and processes (e.g. ISAMI, GISEH) and producing technical dossiers or reports.
* Knowledge of airworthiness regulations and continued airworthiness principles.
* The ability to apply sound engineering judgement, make pragmatic decisions, and work effectively to tight timescales.
* Strong communication skills, with confidence working across multidisciplinary teams and supplier networks.

You'll benefit from:

* Competitive contractor rates (PAYE and Umbrella options available).
* Flexible hybrid working to support work-life balance.
* Exposure to high-profile repair programmes and technically complex engineering challenges.
* Opportunities to develop your expertise in in-service repair, continued airworthiness and advanced structural analysis.
