Secondary Cover Teacher – September Start
Location: Slough | Full Time | £140 – £250 per day
Are you a passionate and reliable secondary teacher seeking a new opportunity this September?
We are currently working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Chalfonts looking to appoint a full-time Cover Teacher from September 2025. The school is open to subject specialisms, but would ideally welcome teachers with a background in English, Maths, or Science.
The role:
Full-time cover across KS3 and KS4
Deliver pre-planned lessons and manage classroom behaviour
Support students with their learning and maintain a positive classroom environment
The ideal candidate will:
Have UK classroom experience (secondary level)
Hold QTS or be an experienced cover supervisor/unqualified teacher
Be confident delivering lessons across the curriculum
Have excellent classroom management and communication skills
What’s on offer:
Competitive daily rate of £120 – £170, depending on experience
