CNC OperatorLocation: Uxbridge
Salary: Up to £35,000 to £40,000
Hours: Monday to Thursday – 37.5 hour week (Fridays OFF!)
Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are looking for a skilled and motivated CNC Operator to join a fast-growing team based in Uxbridge. In this role, you'll play a vital part in setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components across industries such as Defence, Automotive, and Aerospace.
Key Responsibilities of the CNC Operator:
Set up CNC machines to ensure they meet technical specifications for a variety of complex projects.
Operate CNC milling machines to manufacture parts with a high level of accuracy.
Monitor machine operations during production, ensuring quality and efficiency standards are met.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of setups, production logs, tooling data, and machine performance.
Collaborate closely with engineers and technicians to resolve any technical challenges and ensure the timely completion of production targets.Essential Requirements of the CNC Operator:
At least 1 year’s experience in CNC operating or machining.
Solid experience in a precision engineering environment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD/CAM programs.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach to work.
Willingness to work afternoon shifts as required.Benefits
