We are looking fora friendly, enthusiastic and motivated practice nurse to work alongside ourexisting healthcare team.
Experience ofgeneral practice is essential along with knowledge of supporting patients withLong Term Conditions such as Diabetes and COPD. Other duties will be deliveringa wide range of services including cervical screening, immunisations for adultsand children and wound care.
Part - time Mondays and Wednesdays

This is a permanentpost, ideally we are looking for someone already working as a practice nurse.

ProfessionalResponsibilities and Duties
To be an effectivemember of the Primary Health Care Team using knowledge and skills to providehigh standards of nursing care.
To maintain onesown education allowing for good and up to date standard of care to be providedto the patients.
To be able toevaluate and implement individual care using practice protocols and guidelines.
To maintainaccurate nursing interventions on patients records on SystmOne computer system.
To ensure thatstrict confidentiality is maintained.
To communicate withother members of the Primary Health Care Team.
To acknowledge onesown limitations of competencies as set out in the NMC Scope of ProfessionalPractice.
To attend andparticipate in Nursing Team meetings.
To be aware andproactive in Health and Safety issues in the working environment and maintainhigh standards of Infection Control.
EducationalResponsibilities
To maintain anddevelop ones own professional knowledge and competencies in accordance with theNMC guidelines by:-
Keeping abreast ofcurrent developments in Nursing.
Attending inservice multidisciplinary training and practice nurse training.
Take an active partin staff development.
To deliver healthpromotion issues so encouraging the patients to develop a healthier life styleby making informed choices.
