Audit Quality Inspector - Permanent - Birmingham (hybrid) - £92kWe are currently working with a leading public sector regulator who are looking for 2 experienced Audit Professionals to join their Team as an Audit Quality Inspector .The successful candidate(s) will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, an analytical mind, and extensive external audit experience within a major firm. Ideal for audit professionals looking to move away from the unsociable working hours of a traditional firm.Role: Audit Quality InspectorSalary: £92k (non-negotiable)Location: Birmingham, 2 days per week onsite.Benefits including: 30 days annual leave, additional holiday purchase scheme, 10% Pension ContributionAudit Quality Inspector Key Skills and Experience:Accounting qualification - ACA, ACCA (or equivalent)Member of ICAEW, ACCA, ICAS, or ICAI (or equivalent)Experience in audits of listed and other public interest entities (external audit)Big 4 experience beneficialGenuine interest and enthusiasm in a firms audit quality initiativesExperience across multiple sectorsCold file or quality initiatives experience is desirableExperience handling closing meetings, and managing difficult conversations with firmsThis role is suited to anyone currently working at Senior Manager level in an external audit profession.
