Bury Leisure is looking to recruit two highly motivated and enthusiastic applicants for the role of Gym Instructors.
Post 2: Ramsbottom Pool and Fitness Centre, 10 hours per week (average)
Full-time equivalent salary for the role: £25,584 - £27,269
Working patterns are available upon request.
Bury Leisure currently operates two sites, both equipped with gym facilities. The successful candidates will be expected to engage in various promotions, generate leads, and meet challenging targets related to member sales and retention. Responsibilities also include conducting health checks, carrying out inductions, and collaborating with our Exercise Referral Officers and Live Well team.
You will report to the duty manager at each site, where each location has a designated gym lead.
It is essential that you are passionate about fitness, possess excellent people skills, and have a strong commercial focus. Candidates must hold a recognized Level 3 Gym Instructor qualification.
Both centres operate a 7-day service, with work patterns including a mix of late shifts, evenings, and weekends. There is a permanent vacancy at both Castle Leisure Centre and Ramsbottom Pool. Additionally, there is a temporary position at Castle Leisure Centre available until 1st June 2025.
