Contract - Mobile QA Testers (x2) – £325pd
Rate: £325pd (Inside IR35)
Duration: 3 months initially
Location: London/Milton Keynes (Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite)
Are you a QA Tester with deep experience in mobile applications across both Android and iOS platforms? At Ten10, a leading consultancy in Quality Engineering and Software Testing across the UK, we urgently require two Mobile QA specialists to support a fast-moving project.
The Role
As a Mobile QA Tester, you’ll be critical to ensuring the functionality, performance, and user experience of mobile applications meet the highest standards. You’ll work across Android and Apple iOS environments, supporting the development and release of robust, customer-facing mobile applications.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Mobile Testing: Plan, design, and execute detailed test cases for native mobile apps on Android and iOS platforms.
* Defect Reporting: Accurately document issues, work closely with developers to troubleshoot, and validate fixes.
* Release Readiness: Support mobile application submission processes for Google Play and Apple App Store, ensuring apps meet required guidelines.
* Collaboration: Liaise with development, product, and business stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with project goals and timelines.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking experienced QA professionals who are self-driven and can quickly integrate into an agile delivery environment.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Strong experience testing mobile applications on Android and Apple iOS devices.
* Solid understanding of native mobile app architecture and user interaction patterns.
* Hands-on experience with mobile device testing tools and platforms (e.g., Appium, Xcode, Android Studio, BrowserStack, etc.).
* Proficient in creating and maintaining test documentation, including test cases, plans, and results.
* Excellent communication and issue-tracking skills.
Nice-to-Haves:
* Familiarity with the Apple App Store and Google Play submission and approval process.
* Experience in CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
* Background in usability and accessibility testing for mobile interfaces.
* ISTQB or similar certification.
