Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. This role is essential in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years. The ideal candidate will possess strong early years skills and a commitment to early childhood education, ensuring that each child's individual needs are met while promoting their development through play and structured activities.
Duties
* Create and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the developmental needs of children.
* Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere for children and their families, encouraging open communication.
* Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive interactions among children.
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the nursery environment.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, communicating findings with parents as necessary.
* Drive initiatives that promote early childhood education principles within the nursery setting.
Requirements
* A recognised qualification in Level 3 Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential.
* Demonstratable experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to engage with children at their level, fostering an inclusive environment for all.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to drive initiatives within the nursery.
* Knowledge of child development theories and practices is advantageous.
