A bit about what you will do...
As an Engineering Supervisor you will encounter repairs that require strong generalist building skills such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, furniture repair, tiling, general building etc. You will assist the Cluster chief Engineer in complying with all relevant Health and Safety regulations.
* Maintain a high standard of building repairs, ensuring high levels of attention to detail and professionalism whilst respecting guest privacy
* To prioritize all jobs and complete according to departmental, hotel and statutory standards and within the appropriate timeframe.
* Regular tasks will include but are not limited to; furniture repairs, plumbing, tiling, painting, fire door replacement, wardrobe repairs, remedial works identified during planned maintenance or inspections, carpentry, silicone, plasterboard work, asphalt repairs, building enhancement/modification projects.
* Ensure we are compliant with the Company Health & Safety Management System and Fire Safety Management System
* Ensure all reactive and planned maintenance services are delivered via the Concept Evolution CAFM system ensuring service delivery is monitored and optimized
* Ensuring all maintenance stock orders and call out POs are placed for the hotel
* Management of the supply chain associated with contract delivery
* Effectively manage direct reports, main contractors and sub-contractors ensuring relevant delivery in terms of standards, timescale and cost
* Ensure the contracted Hotel has comprehensive planned maintenance programmes in place that address the needs of the contracted hotel and to monitor and report on their effectiveness
More about you...
* Knowledge/Experience of general building
* Specialist in one area of the building industry
* Previous Hotel/Hospitality Maintenance experience preferable.
* Effective written and oral communication skills;
* Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
