Reports to:
Foodbank Manager
Overall role profile:
* Developing and implementing strategies to raise the profile and income for the Foodbank
* Setting and achieving financial targets through overseeing grant applications, fund raising campaigns and donor relations
* Managing the stock team leader and ensuring correct management of stock
* Deputising for the Manager as needed
Key responsibilities:
* Creating fundraising plans to meet financial targets set by Trustees and Manager
* Cultivating relationships with donors, trusts and other organisations
* Submitting grant and trust applications in a timely manner as needed, and overseeing activity by external fundraisers to meet financial targets
* Design, manage and co-ordinate volunteer assistance with fundraising appeals, campaigns and events to attract donors and increase donations
* Monitor income and expenditure, and report on performance against targets to the Finance Committee
* Budget management and performance analysis
* Collating banking data and providing financial reports on income and expenditure
* Managing the Stock Team Leader, ensuring stock levels are maintained, and the storage and movement of stock complies with all health and safety legislation
* Deputising for the Foodbank Manager as needed
* Undertaking all training and attending conferences and roadshows as may be required
* Undertake such duties as may be required from time to time

Experience required:
* Managing and developing staff and volunteers
* Ability to develop long term strategies and translate them into actionable fundraising plans
* Strong relationship building, communication, persuasive and motivational skills for engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders

Key skills:
ESSENTIAL:
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills
* Financial monitoring/management
* Proficient in Word and Excel
* Willingness to occasionally work evenings and weekend for events or campaign preparations

* Proficiency with donor databases and digital fundraising platforms
